Review

I've been eagerly looking forward to Charlotte's story since her character was introduced in Rock Addiction. She definitely deserves to find love and happiness, and I've loved the previous books in the series so I knew that her book would also leave me with that warm glowy feel.

Charlotte tries incredibly hard to remain invisible after a traumatic event leaves lasting scars, but there's no hiding from a T-Rex on the hunt. I loved seeing Charlotte's evolution in this book as she finally starts to heal and open up her heart to another person.
Gabriel really steals the show in this story. To start with he's a brilliant businessman AND a gorgeous ex-rugby player- it's like Nalini Singh knew exactly what I wanted in a hero. I adored the single-minded determination he employs when he sets his sights on Charlotte. I also love that he can be ruthless and stubborn, but with Charlotte he's also kind, patient and understanding.

These two couldn't be a better match. Charlotte needed someone to help her heal and claim back who she really is. Gabriel needs Charlotte's sweetness, and also I'm pretty sure she's the only one who wields even a little bit of control over him.

This story is so bittersweet in many places, but overall it's a truly heartwarming and sweet romance.
